MUGSHOTS FROM HELL

I've seen some of these before, but there are new ones which both frighten and amuse me. It's a strange feeling. Link.

MUSIC BREAK: UK RAPS!

This is probably the greatest image never used for a rap promo: in reality they're two weirdos from the Eurovision Song Contest, but they remind me so much of an older, cooler, City Limits Crew that I dabbled in some technology and made a mixtape of rapping from Britannica. Link

TERRORIST ATTACK TRADING CARDS.

I saw a box of these trading cards recently at a comic and card mart. The guy selling them had no info on them, so I looked them up. Very odd thing to market to kids if you ask me.

SHE'S A SECRETARY

While we're on the subject, Scooter frontman H.P. Baxxter had a early 90's techno group called 'Celebrate The Nun'. This tune 'She's a Secretary' is a bit more issue-based than his later stuff with Scooter, I think this was Baxxter's serious phase.

CRAZY ASS GOOSE!

I love the way the guy seems to say "wassup" to the goose, in the style of "whats up now bitch, you can't get me I'm going too fast."
What a horrible bastard goose.
Thanks Dan.

I WAS BLANKED BY THE RAGE TODAY

I was in Sainsburys today and saw a bloke who was in my class at secondary school, he calls himself "The Rage" (his real name is Daniel). I waved and said hello, but he walked straight past me - twice. In tribute to this lunatic I've posted a couple of my favourite things from his youtube account which will give you a broader picture of what he's like. The Vanilla Ice Cream rap only gets going from around 1:15.

WHEN YOU DIE IN GHANA.

For the Ga tribe in coastal Ghana, funerals are a time of mourning, but also of celebration. The Ga people believe that when their loved ones die, they move on into another life -- and the Ga make sure they do so in style. They honor their dead with brightly colored coffins that celebrate the way they lived.

The coffins are designed to represent an aspect of the dead person's life -- such as a car if they were a driver, a fish if their livelihood was the sea -- or a sewing machine for a seamstress. They might also symbolize a vice -- such as a bottle of beer or a cigarette.
