THE BEASTIES ON THE BOWERY
Have been listening to Paul's Boutique basically on repeat since I heard about MCA passing. That album is fucking incredible, and this video from that period in the Beasties career is great. I love Ricky Powell cracking up Adrock and MCA, on the crazy little bike that he suddenly appears on at 6:15.

Tim Westwood just uploaded this in memory of MCA, when the RUN DMC Raising Hell tour got to London. Can you imagine the footage he has in his archive...
Extra points for watching it long enough to see original label big shot Lyor Cohen, the hebrew Suge Knight, firstly terrifying an audience member for failing to catch MCA when he randomly throws himself into the crowd for possibly the most unsuccessful stage dive of all time (2:32), and then doing his proto MC Serch bar-mitzvah dance with LL:

BEASTIE BOYS BODYSNATCHERS SPRING BREAK 1987
MTV had a competition to fly to Daytona Beach florida, to party with the Beasties. The useless guy that gets picked seems to be having the worst time of his life. Special appearances by Cey city and Ricky Powell (imitation blow job face)I think this must have been around the time that they hated having fraternity boy fans.
